Keep the Pressure On
The Public Authorities Control Board - the last entity whose approval is needed for the stadium to move forward - postponed their vote yet again today.
We have to keep the pressure on, and let the board hear the voices of the vast majority of New Yorkers who know that this is the wrong choice for this borough. If you haven't yet, be sure to tell everyone you know about the online petition at ManhattanPriorities.com, and ask them to sign up now and take a stand against this insane plan.
And be sure to join the entire E4M team and supporters of Brian's campaign Monday night for our at 6:30 PM for our second office party. (See above for more info.) Have a great weekend.

Stop the West Side Stadium
It is seeming more and more likely that the Public Authorities Control Board - the last entity whose approval is needed for the stadium to move forward - will vote this Friday.
Now is a pivotal time to take action for all of us who know that a 75,000 seat stadium is not a priority for Manhattan. Be sure to tell everyone you know about the online petition at ManhattanPriorities.com, and ask them to sign up now and take a stand against this insane plan.

Thanks

"Never before in our history has our nation needed new voices more."
- Cory Booker, introducing Brian at BE@Glass.
A big thank you to everyone who came to BE@Glass Tuesday night.
Over 100 people attended, and the event was a huge success.
Special thanks to the host committee, and especially to Monte Albers deLeon who served as the event chair.
And a very special thanks to Cory Booker for introducing Brian, and speaking about why new leadership is so important for Manhattan.
Our cities, and our country, need more leaders like Cory and Brian - but they need your help. On Tuesday you came out in full force to support Brian's vision for a better Manhattan, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Thanks for Marching for Marriage
I want to thank everyone who joined with us to march for marriage equality yesterday. Your presence made a huge difference.
We were able to speak strongly, showing the assembled press that full equality is a pivotal issue, and spreading the campaign's inclusive message all at the same time.
And AM-NY featured Brian in an article on the march:
Brian Ellner, an openly gay Democratic candidate for Manhattan borough President, said the march was "deeply personal."
"I'm not going to Massachusetts or Canada, I'm a New Yorker and I'm going to get married in New York City."
Maybe, one day soon, we won't have to march for equal rights. Until then, thank you for joining the fight.

Fantastic Fundraising!
Fantastic Fundraising
I'm happy to report that E4M filed an exceptionally strong financial report with the New York City Campaign Finance Board yesterday.
Over the last two months you have helped push Brian into the top tier of fundraising! The campaign raised an astounding $90,000, bringing our current total up to over $800,000 with matching funds. We are well on the way to reaching the maximum spending cap.
Thank you again for everything you do.
And remember that you can still show your support for Brian at two great events coming up – next week's Young Professionals Event at Glass, and the June 22 gala at Hotel QT.
